ABOUT THE FACULTY

The Faculty was formed on August 26, 2010 during the reorganization of the Faculty of Construction and Transport on the basis of the specialties of the profile "Equipment and technology of highly efficient processes of materials processing", "Technical operation of cars", "Transport logistics".

The allocation of the faculty as an independent structure was due to the increase in the number of students and employees and the need to deepen the specialization of structural units in solving the problems of providing enterprises and organizations of the region with engineering personnel of mass specialties.

All specialties of the faculty are new, opened in recent years to meet the needs of the region in engineering personnel. At the same time, the previously accumulated experience of joint training with leading technical universities (Belarusian National Technical University, Belarusian State Technological University, Gomel State University, Belarusian-Russian University, Belarusian State University of Transport, Polotsk State University) was taken into account.

Graduates are in demand in the labor market. Moreover, recently many employees of enterprises and organizations, including middle managers, receive a second education from us – on the basis of the first higher or secondary specialized. The faculty is developing rapidly. New departments, laboratories, classrooms are being created.
